So after last weeks hesitation for an ending, I finally figured out firstly why it was so difficult to conceptualise one and how exactly (well not entirely exactly) the documentary is going to end.
All that needs to happen now is that it needs to get out of my head and onto the script.

Thoughts on the end
While I haven't actually completely conceptualised my conclusion yet, I have thoughts on how I want it to be and what I want it to say about the entire documentary.
Here they are...

Here it is. The first actual part of my documentary with a bit of commentary on why this is the beginning of the story.

The Amazing Upstart Radio Show!!
After weeks of work, the final end product is coming into view. The Upstart sessions are starting to feel like real editorial meetings and there is a nervous, excited buzz everytime we meet. This also means great news for the documentary because I now finally have structural focus and this recording could serve as a potential introduction for the 12 minute documentary.

How I felt old
Nothing like the young to make you feel old. I haven't had much contact with high school pupils since I was one and I didn't expect it to be such a culture shock of sorts with the age differences. This recording may be illustrative of the beginnings of a quarter life crisis.

Don't Panic
This is right in the beginning of the project where I've had to find my feet under the new title of documentary producer. There is obviously panic as a good substantial documentary seems like myth and time seems to be the evil villian. I also happened to join yoga this week in order to practice calm and focus to help me manage, which I haven't been able to attend since simply because there's no time. I'm definitely less panicked now than I was at this stage of production though.
